I'm Tiffany Morris

Welcome to my digital portfolio. I created this site to share information about me as an educator, author, speaker, and consultant. I think it is important to have a digital footprint that speaks to who you are as person and as a professional. This site is organized to provide information on my background, work, accolades, and projects.

I am a recognized and respected international authority in the corporate training industry. I have over 15 years of experience in creating and designing proven, successful and transformational training courses for multinational clients. With over 20 years of Finance and Accounting experience in the Oil and Gas and Banking industries, most of my professional projects to date have had budgets that exceed $1 Billion. I lead a network of specialized industry trainers through my company, Apexena Solutions.

My superpower is the ability to break down complex concepts into accessible information that can empower any learner to perform at a higher capacity. I am passionate about empowering others through education. I enjoy creating solutions to enhance the brand of an individual or a company. I have helped several clients illuminate their brand by creating exceptional training and learning materials. I am committed to delivering real solutions that get real results.

My teaching philosophy is one of empowerment. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr once said that, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education”. As an educator in the corporate, nonprofit and higher education arenas, my goal is to always leave the learners more empowered after our time together.

As I mentioned, I have a passion for creating solutions that empower the learner to perform at a higher capacity. One example of my work is a course I created, Personal Finance for High School Students. The goal of this course is to equip high school students with the tools they need to make sound financial decisions in their personal finance matters. The website contains interactive lessons and activities designed to teach basic sound financial principles with respect to credit, personal banking and budgeting.

Training and Facilitation

Training is an important tool that can be overlooked for enhancing productivity. When employees are empowered, productivity increases. Over the years I have had the privilige of creating and adminstering training that increases productivity and decreases stress. The SAP Course Catalog created and facilitated for my client, BG Group, is a great example of analyzing the learner base and customizing solutions to their needs. The courses were created to upskill the Finance and Accouting staff to accommodate the changes in the business as well as cross train employees to ensure business continuity.

Public Speaking

During my time as a professor of Finance at the University of Phoenix, I received multiple faculty awards for internal and external presentations in Finance. I was also recognized for outstanding feedback to students and teaching methods. Having spoken at countless events and webinars on various topics, I enjoy creating a WOW moment for my clients and audience. I love when the light bulb shines on a topic and audience engagement is at its peak. I bring my high energy and passion for sharing and teaching to every event.

Writing

In addition to the technical writing required for my corporate clients and engagements, I had the opportunity to write a personal branding article for an international Women's Business Magazine, Mujeres Profesionistas. El Lado Femenino del Liderato.

I look forward to writing more articles in other languages as I am a student of multiple Latin based languages.

Also, I am excited to begin my journey as a published author. I am currently working on my first book which I hope to put out in late 2025. Stay tuned for further details.
